Computer science education should be a reality for every K–5 student. The responsibility to implement the computer science standards effectively by determining the essential skills to be taught, the order in which they should be presented, and the connections therein, falls heavily on the shoulders of teachers. Informed by multiple models of learning progressions the resources shared will help guide educators and curriculum developers to identify the skills elementary students need to meet the CS standards.
