Last year, Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) launched its district-wide computer science initiative, reaching over 300 teachers, 35 schools, and 10,000 students. This year, the impact has grown to include 52 schools, 574 teachers, and over 19,000 K–5 students. Teachers participating in the initiative receive year-long professional development, including hundreds of free curriculum resources, CS and CT pedagogy, subject-matter integration training, and model/co-teaching support throughout the year.
